Some tips to keep laptop cool
Keeping the temperature under control is one of the important tasks to maintain the laptops performance. I will give some tips which I use to keep my laptop cool. You have to install some software to track the machine temperature. This will help us to check the temperature easily without checking it through BIOS for which you have to restart your laptop. Software which I use is Notebook Hardware Control (NHC 2.0) which is a free version and also user friendly one to track hardware and power management system. You can also use ACPI control to do the same. If that software is not working properly with your laptop means then you can look for some bug fix versions.
To maintain your laptop do follow the tips below:
Keep your laptop in a place where air circulation is good. Don’t place your laptop on bed or sofa where air circulation is insufficient. Place it on some hard and flat surface like table. If you have an external cooler installed in your laptop then you can place your laptop on bed or sofa. If your CPU’s temperature is rising above 60 C, then you have to check the proper functioning of the cooler fan and if there is any dust you can clean it using vacuum cleaner. There are number of external coolers are available in the market and you can get one to keep you and your machine cool.
