With the N130 Samsung Electronics unveiled today at the IFA, a new and powerful low-cost netbook the N-series. Ultra-light and functional, the Samsung N130 works with latest technology and impresses with quality, design and performance at a high level. The 1.26 kilograms netbook is equipped with a light-reflecting 10.1-inch non-gloss display and is available in four trendy colors. With a maturity of up to 7.5 hours, it is one of the cross-country skiers in the netbook market.

The N130, with high quality components and materials is in a flat, elegant design housing, and is either delivered in black, white, blue and pink. With its extensive functionality, and just 1.26 kilograms, the N130 is the lightest in its class, offering mobility at the highest level.

Portability and low power consumption

The 10.1-inch non-gloss display of the N130 is extremely energy efficient and brilliant with a sharp and bright image without glare, even in extreme sunlight. The low power consumption ensures optimal mobility through Samsung’s leading lithium-ion battery technology and provides an exceptional term of up to 7.5 hours.

Always connected – with Wi-Fi and HSPA

Quick access to the Internet and other content to ensure the new netbook via the built-in 802.11b/g/n WLAN and 3G modem (HSPA / WiMAX / WiBRO) – anytime, anywhere. Furthermore, the netbook is equipped with a built-in microphone and headphone jack – for example, for VoIP telephony -. With three USB 2.0 ports and a 3-in-1 card reader allows the N130 to choose between numerous exchange options. This allows information, images, music and movies with all the modern peripherals such as cameras, external hard drives or audio / video flash-exchange devices.

Also for the protection of the health of its users, Samsung has taken care of: For example, the keyboard of the N130 is equipped with an antibacterial coating that makes the survival of germs and bacteria almost impossible.

Availability, price and warranty

The Samsung N130 is expected in early September for 349-399 euros (available depending on configuration) in trade. Samsung warrants all netbooks 1 years international warranty as well as within Germany only an on-site pick-up service.
