Double anti spy!
Clients often contact me because their computer is running slow. Work, what causes this is a process of elimination. I have a checklist of things I look for to help improve computer performance. Manually update your antivirus and antispyware software and run a scan to ensure that there is no malware present on your computer. If the performance of these tests will find and remove malware, it can immediately increase the performance of your computer.
I still find new clients who do not have antivirus software, antivirus software, or whose license has expired months or even years. Antivirus software and AntiSpy are useless unless updated regularly. If you are using a paid Internet Security Suite, small cost of maintaining an active subscription far outweighs the cost in time, frustration and professional fees clean infected computers.
Once you have antivirus software installed and Double Anti Spy, it is necessary to ensure that your computer is scanned regularly. Many of these programs are active and will run every day, automatically scanning. If your software is not active, it is worth considering replacing them with software that is. It’s easy to forget to run manual scans and leaves your computer vulnerable to infection.
